Inspired by Doug Aitken’s artwork Now (2009), this exhibition, like the temporal adverb “now,” emphasizes the contemporaneity of the artworks in the Colección Jumex. Rather than an interpretative reading or an investigation about a specific subject, the exhibition’s goal was to crystallize its actuality while also emphasizing art’s character as an index of culture.
