Artist Miguel A. Camacho presents his project Hymn, 2012 during 89PLUS Maratón de las Américas: Autoconstrucción. Co-curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Simon Castets, 89PLUS is a long-term, multi-disciplinary project of international research that explores the generation born on or after 1989. Without producing a diagnosis or predict future tendencies, 89PLUS takes the form of conferences, publications and/or exhibitions, gathering representatives of a generation whose voices are only beginning to be heard, but that make up almost half of the world’s population.
