On the occasion of the Museo Laberinto de las Ciencias y las Artes opening, Fundación/Colección Jumex presented In Memoriam Albert Hofmann, curated by Michel Blancsubé. The exhibition gathers pieces from Mathieu Briand, Olafur Eliasson and Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, with the purpose of connecting art with science.
In Memoriam Albert Hofmann (Basel, Switzerland, January 11, 1906 – Basel, Switzerland, April 29, 2008) “Albert Hofmann arrived from Switzerland last Friday with the intention of emending my opinion on his synthesis. ‘Synthesis’: this is what we call an operation that cannot manage to delimit with precision either discovery or invention. All is discovered; we lift the veil that covers nature and its forces, whose heart we can never penetrate.” Ernst Jünger(Heidelberg, Germany, March 29, 1895 – Wilflingen, Germany, February 17, 1998).
