The present volume is one of three components of Las ideas de Gamboa, a curatorial project by Mauricio Marcin. The documents published herein exhibit some of Fernando Gamboa’s many cultural enterprises: exhibitions, his work to increase Mexico’s public archives, his bureaucratic efforts to professionalize museography, as well as some of his research related travels and expeditions. The texts and images that appear in this book have been digitalized from the originals conserved in the Fernando Gamboa Archive at Promotora Cultural Fernando Gamboa.
