In the context of the exhibition The Barefoot Designer: A Workshop to Unlearn, Rashaun Mitchell and Silas Riener made a performance with the objects in the exhibition.
Since 2010 Rashaun Mitchell and Silas Riener have created dance that responds to complex and active spatial conditions, often fusing elements of fantasy, the absurd and still contemplation. Their work takes many shapes from places with specific installations and improvised dance. After working together as part of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Mitchell and Reiner began producing dance projects that constantly push the boundaries of the research of dance, with great interest in the way in which abstraction and representation coincide with the body.
